Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to analyze root cause and resolve issues in development or production environments.
• Excellent communication with App Dev teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience on Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve application issues with the team.
• Identify defects and trends via debugging or log analysis.
• Manage incidents and communicate with users, application owners, and senior stakeholders.
• Improve stability and performance by observing patterns and advising permanent fixes.
• Automate failures using tools and notify discrepancies in production health.
• Identify processes that can be automated and collaborate with Engineering.
• Challenge current application setup and suggest improvements for stability.
• Participate in Change management to manage production risk.
• Build and improve run books to minimize operational errors.
• Develop reports with trending statistics to monitor health and service performance.
• Learn and troubleshoot proprietary technologies not widely available pre-hire.
