Overview

At Corus we are looking for Java / Spring Boot Developers to join our team and participate in international projects.

Location: 100% remote from Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Review code and Pull Requests, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Work in cloud-based environments, supporting application deployments and operations.
• Contribute to technical decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

You should have

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to understand code, review Pull Requests and guide technical decisions.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control (Git), and deployments in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• A proactive mindset, high accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
• B2/C1 level of English for technical communication and documentation is a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with MongoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Previous experience developing reusable libraries or components for BPM systems (BAMOE, RHPAM, jBPM, Kogito, Camunda, Bonita).
• Knowledge or experience with Go.
• Knowledge or experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.

Experience and education

• Technical degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
