Job summary

Stratpoint Technologies is seeking a Java Developer to join a dynamic tech team focused on digital solutions for financial services. The role involves designing, building, testing, and integrating Java-based systems, with emphasis on security, scalability, and collaboration with frontend and external stakeholders.

You will work with Java Springboot, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes in Debian-based environments, contributing to cutting-edge projects and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Computing / Business or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in Java.
• Working knowledge of Java Springboot and backend stacks such as PHP, SQL, Kubernetes.
• Experience in Java-based environments using Debian 12, OpenJDK, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in CI and code versioning tools, such as GitLab and Github.
• Excellent knowledge of OWASP security principles.
• Experience in utilizing project management tools such as JIRA.

Your Responsibilities

About You

You are/have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Computing / Business or equivalent
• At least 2 years of software development experience in Java
• Working knowledge and experience in Java Springboot and backend technical stacks such as PHP, Java, SQL, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in Java-based environments using Debian 12, OpenJDK, and PostgreSQL
• Proficient in continuous integration and code versioning tools, such as GitLab and Github
• Excellent knowledge of OWASP security principles
• Experience in utilizing project management tools such as JIRA
