Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines (Cebu City) seeks a software developer with at least 2 years of Java SE experience to design, code, test, debug, and deploy web service applications following best practices.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs, collaborate with clients and teammates, and use IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, Jira and Confluence in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems or related; undergraduates welcome.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Java Standard Edition.
• Knowledgeable in software development design patterns.
• Willing to be upskilled/trained in Java (Java EE, Spring App, Spring Boot etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology and practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes or configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents, and maintains web service applications using various toolkits and standards.
• Gathers business requirements and translates them into detailed technical specifications for programs.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and issue analysis, coding, testing and implementing software enhancements.
