Job summary

Amadeus in the Philippines is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within our Loyalty Solutions group. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, collaborate with global teams, and help deliver scalable services using Spring Boot and Kubernetes.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Java EE technologies, Agile practices, and strong problem-solving skills, along with clear written and verbal English

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise software applications using Java and Java Enterprise technologies or comparable technology stacks.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, or Hibernate is an advantage.
• Experience with Angular is considered an advantage.
• Experience working within Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of multithreaded applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and services.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from development and testing to maintenance and support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Participate in bug fixing, system maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in customer interactions to support technical discussions and clarifications.
