Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer II focusing on Java and Loyalty Solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within a global Competency Center serving a major airline customer, contributing from code development through support and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes ownership of long-term delivery, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adoption of new technologies to drive customer outcomes in a dynamic travel tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise software using Java and Java EE technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring, or Hibernate.
• Experience with Angular is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Understanding multithreaded applications is a plus.

Technical Skills

About the Ideal Candidate

• Experience developing enterprise software applications using Java and Java Enterprise technologies or comparable technology stacks
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, or Hibernate is an advantage.
• Experience with Angular is considered an advantage.
• Experience working within Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of multithreaded applications is a plus.
• Understanding of software development best practices and engineering principles.
