Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical assistance for computer hardware, software, printers, email systems, and other IT-related concerns.
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot internet connections, Wi-Fi networks, routers, and other networking equipment.
• Manage system access, user accounts, software updates, data backups, and basic cybersecurity measures.
• Assist in maintaining IT equipment inventories, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating repairs or replacements.
• Provide technical assistance for coworking spaces, meeting rooms, CCTV, access controls, and AV equipment when needed.
• Conduct periodic system checks, recommend improvements, and coordinate with external technology providers as necessary.

About the Role

Yspaces Philippines Inc. is looking for a reliable, resourceful, and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and maintain the company's IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology-related operations.

We are open to part-time, on-demand, or fractional IT professionals who can efficiently manage IT concerns remotely and provide on-site assistance when necessary.

The ideal candidate is an independent IT professional with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills who can ensure the reliability, security, and smooth operation of our IT resources without requiring daily on-site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance for computer hardware, software, printers, email systems, and other IT-related concerns.

• Network & Systems Maintenance: Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot internet connections, Wi-Fi networks, routers, and other networking equipment.

• IT Security & Administration: Manage system access, user accounts, software updates, data backups, and basic cybersecurity measures.

• IT Asset Management: Assist in maintaining IT equipment inventories, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating necessary repairs or replacements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, troubleshooting, network administration, or general IT operations.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, Windows operating systems, and network troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and basic cybersecurity practices.

• Experience with remote IT support tools and cloud-based applications.

• Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and audio-visual equipment is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated, responsive, dependable, and capable of working independently.

• Willing and able to provide on-site technical assistance when necessary.

Work Arrangement
