Job summary

Rest Solution Corp is seeking an IT Support Engineer (Tier 1) in Manila to deliver first-line technical support to end users and ensure SLA/OLA targets are met. You will diagnose issues, perform remote and on-site assistance, and coordinate with on-call teams for escalation.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, M365, and basic networking, with exposure to cloud services (Azure, AWS) and virtualization. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field
Experience in end-user support and IT infrastructure
Experience with Windows-based systems, servers, and clients
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy and M365
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of firewall, switching, and access points
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support to end users via remote or on-site methods
Monitor alerts and execute restoration procedures for infrastructure
Log all updates and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
Escalate unresolved issues following the proper path
Handle tier 1 tasks on servers, networks, and cloud environments (M365, AWS, Azure)
Communicate progress and close tickets only after satisfactory resolution
Collaborate with team and participate in projects as needed
Maintain professionalism in inquiries and customer interactions
