Job summary

FERNA CORPORATION is seeking a skilled IT security professional to strengthen and monitor our security infrastructure in Metro Manila. The role involves analyzing security systems, organizing ethical hacking tests, and coordinating with the development team to implement improvements while keeping stakeholders informed of downtime and risks.

You will prepare actionable reports, monitor network activity, and ensure continuous learning to keep security knowledge current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS or related technical field.
• 2–4 years in IT infrastructure, network security, or IT audit environments.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory, team leadership, or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing security systems and recommend changes or improvements.
• Prepare reports and action plans for security breaches.

• Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
• Prepare reports and action plans in the event that a security breech does occur
• Organize and conduct tests and “ethical hacks” of the existing security architecture
• Monitor the network and provide early warning of abnormalities or problems
• Upgrade systems regularly to remain competitive in the field of security
• Communicate the system status and keep users informed of downtime or changes to the system
• Keep technical knowledge current through continuing education

• Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure, network security, or IT audit environments.
• Leadership: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory, team leadership, or project management capacity.
