Responsibilities

Perform vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and penetration tests to identify potential security issues.
Monitor and analyze security events to detect potential security threats.
Develop and maintain firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security controls.
Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage the installation and configuration of security hardware and software.
Stay abreast of current security trends, threats, and countermeasures.
