Job summary

Intellyx IT Solutions in Malabon City, Metro Manila seeks an experienced IT Supervisor to lead and oversee our IT operations, ensuring reliable technology services across the organization. You will mentor the IT team, coordinate with departments and vendors, and drive continuous improvement in system performance and security.

Minimum 5 years in IT with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud and cybersecurity, and experience with ITIL or similar

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT support or sysadmin, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud systems and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Proven experience leading IT teams with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux and macOS environments.
• Experience with helpdesk software, ticketing systems and IT asset management tools.
• Understanding of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving under pressure with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily IT operations, including system monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting across all technology infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor IT team members, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime.
• Manage IT helpdesk operations, ticket systems and SLAs to maintain quality support standards.
• Oversee hardware and software installations, updates and configurations across the organisation.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and documentation to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor IT budgets and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions and technology investments.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on IT tools, systems and security protocols.
• Prepare reports on IT performance metrics, system availability and team productivity for management review.
• Ensure data security, backup systems and disaster recovery procedures are maintained and tested regularly.

About the role
Intellyx IT Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to join our growing technology team in Malabon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead, mentor and oversee our IT operations whilst ensuring the smooth delivery of technology services across the organisation. As IT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our infrastructure, managing technical teams, and driving continuous improvement in our IT service delivery. This position is essential to supporting our business objectives and ensuring our technology systems operate at peak efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

1. Supervise and manage daily IT operations, including system monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting across all technology infrastructure

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or a related technical role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity

2. Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud systems and cybersecurity fundamentals

3. Proven experience managing IT teams and demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills

4. Proficiency with operating systems including Windows, Linux and macOS environments

5. Experience with helpdesk software, ticketing systems and IT asset management tools

6. Understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL or similar methodologies

7. Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

8. Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail

9. Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable

10. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
