Job summary

solaireresort is seeking an IT Security Administrator to support Security Operations and respond to cyber incidents. You will help protect both online and on‑prem assets, monitor security posture, and analyze data to filter suspicious activity.

The role requires independent work and adherence to security policies. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in IT security, knowledge of malware, intrusion detection, and threat management, plus familiarity with EDR, SIEM, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline.
• 1+ year of working experience in the related field is required.
• Understanding of security concepts, including malware, intrusion detection, risk analysis, and threat/vulnerability management.
• Good knowledge of Infra Security, Operating Systems, virtualization, network architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Good knowledge of Network Security, TCP/IP, and OSI layers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools, business applications, and monitoring applications
• Knowledge of EDR, AV, SIEM, WAF, Device Control and Patching Systems, Scanning Tools, and 0365 Security.
• Diligent attention to customer satisfaction, a high level of service orientation, professionalism
• Proven ability to work independently is a key requirement.
• Professional conduct and communication to work respectfully with high-profile employees
• Knowledge of security processes and procedures relating to change management.
• Security + Certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job description

The IT Security Administrator’s main role is to support the Security Operations, be the first responder to cyber incidents and threats, as well as implement and execute all duties in line with existing IT Security Programs, policies, and procedures as instructed by the Director, IT Security Risk & Compliance. The IT Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the company's digital and computing assets are protected from unauthorized access and malware infection. This includes securing both online and on-prem infrastructures, analyzing metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, monitoring technical security posture across the infrastructure, and finding and mitigating risks before breaches occur.

Requirements

Experience Required: At least one (1) year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
