Job summary

Solaire Resort is seeking an IT Security Administrator to support Security Operations, respond to cyber incidents, and enforce IT security programs and policies. You will help protect digital assets, monitor infrastructure, and mitigate risks before breaches occur, while communicating effectively with all levels of staff.

The role requires at least 1 year in the related field, a Bachelor’s degree in a IT discipline, and a strong passion for security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline.
• 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Passion for IT Security and information technology.
• Understanding of security concepts including malware, intrusion detection, risk analysis, and threat/vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of infra security, operating systems, virtualization, network architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, and OSI layers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools and monitoring applications.
• Security+ certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Security Operations and act as first responder to cyber incidents.
• Ensure protection of company assets from unauthorized access and malware.
• Implement and execute IT Security programs, policies, and procedures.

Job Description

The IT Security Administrator’s main role is to support theSecurity Operations, be the first responder to cyber incidents and threats, aswell as implement and execute all duties in line with existing IT SecurityPrograms, policies, and procedures as instructed by the Director, IT SecurityRisk & Compliance.

The IT SecurityAdministrator is responsible for ensuring that the company's digital andcomputing assets are protected from unauthorized access and malware infection.This includes securing both online and on-prem infrastructures, analyzingmetrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, monitoring technicalsecurity posture across the infrastructure, and finding and mitigating risksbefore breaches occur.

Experience Required:

• At least one (1) year of working experience inthe related field is required for this position
  

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or anyrelated IT discipline
