Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS). You will manage planning, scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources, coordinating Finance, Treasury, IT, and vendors.

You will drive data migration, ERP integration, testing (SIT/UAT/Regression), and treasury operations knowledge such as cash management, forecasting and reporting to ensure a secure, scalable solution and on-time go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in finance transformation, treasury technology, financial systems implementation, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading the implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS) or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end TMS implementation project.
• Develop and manage the project plan, scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Treasury, Finance, IT, vendors, and external consultants.
• Facilitate governance meetings and provide status updates to senior leadership.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements from Treasury and Finance stakeholders.
• Analyze treasury processes and recommend improvements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for system configuration.
• Validate solution design with business users.
• Lead data migration and ERP integration efforts.
• Develop testing strategies and coordinate SIT/UAT/Regression/Performance testing.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage issue logs.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS). The successful candidate will manage the project from planning through post-go-live support, collaborating with Finance, Treasury, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable, secure, and efficient treasury solution. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with a solid understanding of treasury operations, banking connectivity, cash management, and financial systems.

• Lead the end-to-end Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation project.
• Develop and manage the project plan, scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Finance, IT, vendors, and external consultants.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide regular status updates to senior leadership. Manage project deliverables and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Business & Functional Requirements Gather and document business and functional requirements from Treasury and Finance stakeholders.
• Analyze current treasury processes and recommend process improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration.
• Validate solution design with business users.
• Treasury System Implementation Lead the implementation of treasury functionalities, including: Cash Management Cash Forecasting Liquidity Management Bank Account Management Payment Processing In-House Banking Debt & Investment Management FX Management Financial Risk Management Bank Fee Analysis Treasury Reporting ERP Integration Work with IT and vendors to integrate the Treasury Management System with ERP platforms such as: Ensure seamless integration for: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash Position Reporting Financial Reporting Data Migration Develop and execute data migration plans.
• Validate and reconcile migrated treasury data. Ensure data quality and completeness before go-live.
• Testing Develop test strategies and test scenarios. Coordinate: System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Regression Testing Performance Testing Track and resolve defects.
• Risk Management Identify project risks and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation plans.
• Manage issue logs and escalation processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
