Job summary

Asiagate Networks, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee client projects from initiation to close, ensuring delivery within scope and quality. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define deliverables, and manage budgets while maintaining strong client relations.

You will guide project plans, timelines, risk mitigation, and reporting, leveraging open source and software development practices. At least 3 years in similar roles preferred; Ayala Makati onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Math/IT/Business Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in software development life cycle and maintenance projects.
• Disciplined, efficient and loyal with strong work ethics.
• PMP and TOGAF are advantageous.

Broad Job Description

To fully comprehend the needs of the client and ensure that the right solutions are delivered to customers within the schedule and in the quality expected. The Project Manager defines the project’s objectives and oversees quality control. As needed, the Project Manager is also charged with acquiring human resources as well as coordinating the efforts of each team member, supplier in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Tasks

• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
• Liaise and work closely with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Define deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Ensure that the project is delivered within the development budget
• Build, develop, and grow the necessary business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Manage, monitor and motivate the team assigned to the project.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Develop and implement back up plans as needed by the project, all the while keeping within project budgets and schedules.
• Conduct project presentations and prepare reports.
• Assist in the conduct of technical activities and tasks.
• Formally close the project and deliver all final requirements to the client and acquire all necessary sign-offs.

Skills

The candidate is expected to have the following skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communications in English.
• Strong business requirements analysis.
• Familiarity with project management software.

• A plus: Strong technical background in any of the following:
  • Open Source technologies and web-based technologies
  • Database design and development
  • Software development and testing tools

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in BS Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Mathematics/Information Technology/Business Management or equivalent.
• Experience in full Software Development Lifecycle and Maintenance Projects
• At least 3 year(s) of related working experience is required for this position
• Disciplined, efficient and loyal
• PMP, TOGAF Certification is an advantage
• Master’s Degree is an advantage
