Our Clients is seeking a Manager – Network & Security in the Philippines to lead both network and cybersecurity functions, ensuring reliable, secure, and continuously improving enterprise technology environments. Qualifications

• 8+ years in Network, InfoSec, Cybersecurity with leadership.
• Proven experience managing teams across Network and Security/Cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years in project consulting or solution architecture (requirements, design, deployment).
• Strong Cybersecurity Operations experience: detection, response, monitoring, investigations.
• Experience with SOC/SIEM, threat intel, IOCs and security incidents.
• Knowledge of network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, cloud security, vulnerability mgmt.
• Experience with secure cloud architecture, especially Azure.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE.
• Hands-on with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical teams across Network and Cybersecurity functions.
• Oversee day-to-day network and security operations, incidents, changes, service requests.
• Lead cybersecurity operations including threat detection, incident response, monitoring, vulnerability mgmt.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manager – Network & Security to lead both network and cybersecurity functions, ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology environments.

This role combines Network Engineering, Cybersecurity Operations, Security Architecture, Incident Response, and Technical Leadership. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage technical teams while remaining hands-on enough to provide direction on network, security, and cyber operations matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical teams across Network and Cybersecurity functions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day network and security operations, including incidents, escalations, changes, and service requests.
• Lead cybersecurity operations covering threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security investigations.
• Handle and evaluate security alerts escalated from SOC/SIEM and coordinate appropriate response and remediation.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
• Identify security threats, vulnerabilities, exposures, and gaps and recommend appropriate controls.
• Develop and maintain network and security architecture for office, data centre, and cloud environments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure architecture and technology solutions.
• Lead network and security projects from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation and deployment.
• Drive network performance, resiliency, optimisation, and technology lifecycle management.
• Manage security controls across network, endpoint, cloud, and infrastructure environments.
• Work with vendors and technology partners on technical issues, projects, and security solutions.
• Establish and improve security and network standards, documentation, processes, and automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and serve as a subject matter expert for Network and Security.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Network, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related technical roles, with significant leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing teams across Network and Security/Cybersecurity functions.
• At least 3 years of project consulting or solution architecture experience, covering requirements, architecture/design, and implementation/deployment.
• Strong experience in Cybersecurity Operations, including incident detection, incident response, security monitoring, and investigation.
• Experience working with SOC/SIEM environments, threat intelligence, IOCs, and security incidents.
• Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, WAF, cloud security, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with secure cloud architecture, particularly Azure.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and STRIDE.
• Hands‑on experience with several enterprise technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, segmentation, VPN, resiliency, and network security.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred

• CISSP, CISM, CCNP/CCIE, GIAC, or other relevant Network/Security certifications.
• Experience with Zero Trust, cloud security, and DevSecOps.
• Experience in managing vendors, technology partners, and technical projects.
