Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, and maintain high-quality learning solutions for IT systems and business processes. You will translate complex technical information into clear, learner-focused training and collaborate with IT SMEs to deliver scalable content.

The role reports to the Organizational Change Management Manager and requires 2+ years in the field, with relocation assistance available for candidates outside Cebu and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Organizational Development, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or related field
• Hands-on experience developing digital learning content using Adobe Captivate or comparable rapid authoring tools
• Experience translating complex technical information into engaging learning content

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions including courses, simulations, assessments, microlearning, job aids, and instructor-led materials
• Develop and maintain content, curricula, and assessments within the LMS
• Apply instructional design methodologies and learning science to create effective experiences
• Create interactive digital learning experiences using Adobe Captivate and other tools
• Collaborate with IT SMEs to translate complex information into learner-friendly content
• Develop storyboards, scripts, objectives, assessments, and facilitator materials
• Ensure materials are accurate, accessible, and aligned with standards
• Stay current with instructional design trends and promote high-quality learner experiences
• Support training content for enterprise IT systems and upgrades
• Promote consistent practices across IT training programs
• Relocation assistance will be offered to those outside Cebu
