You will manage cloud and on‑prem environments, drive enterprise systems, and oversee IT projects, support services, and vendor relationships to enable growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Information Management or related field.
• At least 5 years in an IT leadership or managerial role.
• Strong experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networks, servers and databases.
• Experience with business systems such as POS, lending, inventory, SAP and e-commerce.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Familiar with ITSM, helpdesk operations, and vendor contracts.
• Leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.

About the role

As the IT Head, you will lead the organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a leadership role for someone who can align technology with business objectives while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business goals

• Lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise environments

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of networks, servers, databases, and business applications

• Drive cybersecurity initiatives by implementing best practices in endpoint protection, access management, threat detection, and compliance

• Lead IT projects from planning and budgeting through implementation and successful delivery

• Manage IT operations, technical support, helpdesk services, preventive maintenance, and IT asset management

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans

• Evaluate and manage software vendors, technology partners, and third‑party service providers

• Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology opportunities that improve operational efficiency

• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing IT team while promoting innovation and continuous improvement

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in an IT leadership or managerial role

• Strong experience managing cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, enterprise networks and servers, databases, and enterprise applications

• Experience with business systems such as Point-of-Sale (POS), Lending Systems, Inventory Management, SAP, and E-commerce platforms

• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, network security, access management, endpoint protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux Server, virtualization technologies, and MySQL or MariaDB

• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), helpdesk operations, and backup solutions

• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, and technology contracts

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence

• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
