Job summary

AUMOVIO is looking for an IT DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. The successful candidate will have expertise in Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, alongside proficiency in scripting languages. You will work closely with development teams to implement efficient CI/CD pipelines and foster collaboration.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, at least 5 years of experience in the field, and strong problem-solving skills. You will also need good English language skills and might provide weekend support as needed.

Job Description

An IT DevOps Engineer for JIRA & Confluence is an IT generalist and specialist who should have a wide‑ranging knowledge of both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, system administration, DevOps toolchains and ITSM topics like Incident Management and Problem Management. Working style is: 'Going beyond a single role'.

You will collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines that enable the rapid and reliable delivery of software applications and infra platforms with high quality and in a secure way.

You need to foster effective collaboration between development, operations, and QA teams. Act as a bridge between development and operations, ensuring smooth handover and knowledge sharing. Make sure to understand customer needs, processes and value. Customer and DevOps need to collaborate to design solutions and reach the same target (value of co‑creation). Writing Software and Scripts to support Business Needs.

Qualifications

• Atlassian JIRA and Confluence Administration Expert
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud is an advantage
• Experience in ITSM tools like BMC for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management
• Proficiency in scripting and/or coding languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell etc.
• Experienced with configuration management tools and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging software applications, infrastructure components, and deployment processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Information & Cybersecurity Operations, Tools and Applications and how they fit into the DevOps cycle
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 5 years professional experience as an IT DevOps Engineer.
• Valid DevOps certification from certified institute is a plus.
• Good English language skills spoken and written.
• Willing to provide weekend and standby on‑call support on an as‑needed basis for critical activities and issues to ensure business continuity.
