Job summary

Cosmetique Asia Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an IT Developer Specialist to lead end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems within project timelines. You will analyze requirements with business units, design scalable solutions, implement enhancements, provide user support, and ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL is expected, along with knowledge of APIs, databases, and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in system implementation, application support, infrastructure, or IT project management preferred.
• Knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, networking concepts, and system integrations.
• Understanding of project management methodologies preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Conduct process mapping and identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Develop project timelines, implementation plans, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with department heads and vendors regarding project requirements and deliverables.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain business applications and IT systems.
• Create workflows, user access controls, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements when necessary.
• Ensure system functionality aligns with company policies and operational requirements.
• Manage and support company hardware, software, network, and related IT resources.
• Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Resolve system issues and provide timely technical assistance to users.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets.
• Lead implementation and deployment of IT projects and system enhancements.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, validation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Ensure system readiness before production launch.
• Ensure compliance with Data Privacy regulations and internal IT security policies.
• Implement access controls and security measures to protect company information.
• Monitor data integrity, system availability, and backup processes.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and operational procedures.
• Conduct system orientation and user training sessions.
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.
