Job summary

GCash is seeking a Compliance Testing professional to participate in risk assessment scheduling and testing. You will identify controls, define testing activities, track outcomes, and oversee self-assessments to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaboration with business units to implement findings is essential.

The role requires knowledge of BSP and AMLC regulations, strong analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a FinTech environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of Compliance Risk Assessment and Testing schedules.
• Identify testing controls and develop strategies to ensure appropriate testing.
• Define the testing activities to meet objectives.
• Track and report Testing Activities.
• Oversee Self-Assessment of Testing subjects.
• Identify applicable regulations to the operation of the business.
• Conduct testing to assess compliance with Testing subjects.
• Other tasks as delegated by Compliance Testing Head/COO.

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)

• Participate in the development of the Compliance Risk Assessment and Testing schedules
• With guidance of the Compliance Testing Head, identify testing controls and develop strategies to ensure appropriate testing
• Define the testing activities to meet the objectives
• Track and report Testing Activities
• Oversee the Self-Assessment exercise of the Testing subjects
• Identify the applicable regulations to the operation of the specific business
• Conduct the actual testing to assess the level of compliance to the of the Testing subjects
• Other tasks that may be delegated by the Compliance Testing Head and Chief Compliance Officer from time to time

Displays (The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed)

• Deep compliance knowledge on BSP IT regulations
• Strong analytical, investigative and reporting skills

Delivers (Specific outputs / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible)

• Provide initial Compliance Testing observations related to IT Regulations
• Report exceptions noted and discuss the same with the Testing subject to identify the root cause of the findings and obtain commitment to the resolutions to the Compliance Testing Head
• Effectively interacts with business/unit representatives to ensure results are understood and recommendations are implemented
• Write the final Compliance Testing Report with the rating and recommendations
