Job summary

TekSynap in Arlington, VA is seeking an IT Asset Manager Lead to join our defense team and oversee IT asset management, GFP/GFE, and software license governance.

You will manage ITAM processes, maintain baselines, coordinate automated discovery, reconcile records, and prepare monthly reports while supporting audit readiness and government contracts.

Applicants should have 8+ years of relevant experience and hold certifications such as ITIL, IAITAM, CSAM, CHAMP, and Sec+.

Qualifications

We are seeking an IT Asset Manager Lead to join our defense team!

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Eight (8+) years in IT asset management, configuration management, GFP/GFE, or software license management.
• Experience managing enterprise IT assets and software licenses.
• Knowledge of CMDB, ITAM tools, automated discovery, GFP/GFE processes, and Government property accountability.
• Ability to support audit readiness, reconciliation, reporting, and lifecycle planning.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $140,000 - $$185,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined based on several factors, including the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The listed salary represents one component of the total compensation package for employees.
