About the job IT Applications Development Associate

Purpose of the Role:

Develops, designs, tests, and maintains the company's application systems. Customize, modify, and integrate off the shelf software into in-house developed systems to meet the needs of the business.

Here's how you would make than impact:

• Develop application solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flows, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas; Writing program codes and designing user interfaces;
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments;
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential;
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues;
• Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular, and database levels;
• Perform beta testing before deployment in the live production environment;
• Tests programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate;
• Preparation of training manuals and work instructions for users;
• Responsible for training end-users;
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running;
• Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports as reported by end-users;
• Adheres to the Employee Handbook, Safety, Health, Environmental, NTRM Policies, Cost reduction, and Productivity improvement programs of the Company;
• Leads and attends to Pep-talks, safety meetings, and other meetings of the department;

Here's what we're looking for:

• Graduate of BS Information Technology or BS Computer Science or any related course specializing in Programming.
• A fresh graduate with at least one year of work experience in developing, designing testing, and maintaining the companys application systems.
• Expertise in current computer hardware and software.
• Must have strong knowledge of command of VB.Net and VB 6 programming languages and MS SQ scripting.
• Strong knowledge of various software programming and ability to learn new things.
• General programming skills, software design, software debugging, and software documentation.
• Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
• Demonstrates ability to process multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
• As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expect to learn these technologies very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.
