Job description

Expected Mindset

The IT Administrator is expected to act as the owner of the Company’s IT environment, not merely as a helpdesk or support staff member.

This role serves as the first point of contact and central consultation desk for all IT-related matters. Employees and management should be able to consult this position regarding IT issues, system questions, security concerns, vendor matters, operational problems, and improvement ideas.

The IT Administrator must proactively receive, assess, prioritize, and drive matters to resolution. While not expected to solve every technical issue alone, the IT Administrator is responsible for coordinating with vendors, specialists, local management, and Marubeni headquarters as necessary until matters are properly resolved.

This role requires strong communication skills, practical judgment, a proactive mindset, and a clear sense of ownership. The IT Administrator must balance local business needs, security requirements, internal control expectations, and Marubeni Group governance standards.
