Job summary

A leading construction firm in Tarlac City is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to develop and implement auditing programs based on ISO standards. The ideal candidate will conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with ISO certification. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least a year of ISO auditing experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least a year experience in ISO auditing, quality assurance, or compliance.
• Preferably Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001.
• Knowledgeable in documentation control, process auditing, and root cause analysis is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an internal audit program based on ISO standards applicable to the company.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled internal audits across departments to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit plans, checklists, and reports with clear findings and recommendations.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and verified for effectiveness.
• Coordinate with external auditors during certification and surveillance audits.
• Maintain and update ISO documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Provide training and awareness programs related to ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and improving the company’s management systems to ensure continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, environment, and occupational health & safety (if applicable).
• Support management in maintaining ISO certification compliance and readiness at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering or related field.
• At least a year experience in ISO auditing, quality assurance, or compliance.
• Preferably Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 (additional certifications such as ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 are an advantage).
• Knowledgeable in documentation control, process auditing, and root cause analysis is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple audit assignments.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Willing to do field works.
