Job summary

Coherent Corp. Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to examine silicon optics parts on-site. The role focuses on visual, dimensional, and surface-quality inspections, ensuring traceability and accurate documentation.

Applicants should have a Vocational or Associate degree in a related field with experience in machining, precision measurement, and quality control. Proficiency with measuring instruments and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in machining processes and precision measurement.

• Experience in silicon optics or similar precision manufacturing is an advantage.

• Inspect silicon optics parts according to specifications and work instructions.

Job description

• Inspect silicon optics parts according to specifications and work instructions.

• Identify, segregate, and document defective or nonconforming parts.
• Record inspection results accurately and report abnormalities.
• Coordinate with Production, FQA, and Engineering regarding quality issues.
• Follow safety, quality, housekeeping, and ESH procedures.

Education & Experience

• Vocational graduate or Associate Degree in Machining, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field.
• Experience in machining processes and precision measurement.
• Experience in inspection or quality control is preferred.
• Experience in silicon optics or similar precision manufacturing is an advantage.
