Job summary

COSCO Shipping International (Singapore) Co., Ltd is seeking a senior investor relations executive/assistant manager to engage with the investment community and support communications of financial performance. The role involves coordinating IR meetings, Board and AGM events, and delivering timely updates to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a finance or communications background, strong presentation skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Investment, Marketing or Communications or related field.
• Financial analysis background preferred; ability to read, write and understand financial statements.
• Familiar with securities management software such as Bloomberg, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin; strong presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience in a listed company; senior level consideration for extensive experience.

• Work as a point of contact and responsible for managing relations with investing community.

• Organize annual report and sustainability report preparation.

• Assist in other ad-hoc matters when necessary.

Job description

The Investor Relations team works closely with finance, operation and other functions, capital markets, assets management and investment communities to maintain well round and effective communication with the investment community and other stakeholders.

We are seeking a senior executive/assistant manager to focus on the key areas outlined below. While we are primarily looking at the current position level, the company is highly flexible and may consider a senior title for candidates with extensive relevant experience and a proven track.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance, Investment, Marketing, Communications or any related field from recognized university preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a listed company preferred.
• Financial analysis background preferred; ability to read, write and understand and explain financial statement.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese associates for work purpose with presentation skills) and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiar with securities management software such as Bloomburg, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good interpersonal and organization skills
• Attention to details and strong analytical skills
• Fast worker and able to multitask.
• Candidates with extensive relevant experience will be considered for a senior level position.
