The role involves implementing processes for property cost accounting, monthly statements, and collaboration with the U.S. accounting team and auditors. CA with 5+ years in accounting and proficiency in Excel and Yardi Voyager is preferred.

Qualifications

• CA and bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; real estate experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Yardi Voyager.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage accounting of property costs and reconciliations.
• Oversee offshore accounting team; review property tax payments, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to centralize, automate, or outsource activities with service providers.
• Responsible for a specific fund’s reporting, including monthly statements and lender/compliance reports.
• Analyze financial information, summarize status, and provide guidance to operations and portfolio teams.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations for accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to review controls and processes.
• Document policies and workflows for assigned areas.
• Contribute to department and organizational special projects.
