Job summary

Vertex Solutions in the Philippines is seeking an Investment Director to lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of strategic investments across renewable energy and infrastructure in Asia-Pacific, with a focus on high-impact projects.

You will manage rigorous financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring, oversee due diligence, and build relationships with investors and developers, delivering strong returns in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced qualifications (CFA, MBA) are highly regarded.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investment management, corporate development, or project finance, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure.
Demonstrated track record of executing successful investment transactions and managing investment portfolios.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with growth objectives and risk appetite.
Lead origination, screening, and evaluation of potential investment opportunities across energy and infrastructure sectors.
Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and risk assessment to support investment decisions.
Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee due diligence processes with technical, legal, and commercial teams.
