Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking curious and driven individuals to join a small, entrepreneurial investment team. You will conduct in-depth research on Indian listed companies, build financial models, and help inform capital allocation decisions through live investments and presentations.

Ideal candidates have up to ~5 years of experience in equity research or related roles, strong Excel skills, and a passion for investing.

Qualifications

Genuine interest in understanding businesses, markets and compounding returns.
Comfort with analysing financial statements and connecting numbers to narratives.
Ability to work in a small, high-intensity team and take ownership.

Responsibilities

Conduct deep fundamental research on Indian listed companies across sectors and market caps.
Build detailed financial and valuation models to assess quality and intrinsic value.
Track portfolio companies, monitor industry trends, and assist in investment memos and presentations.
Participate in idea discussions, portfolio reviews and meetings with company managements.
Develop the ability to originate and recommend investment ideas backed by rigorous analysis.
