You will lead inventory staff, coordinate stock transfers between Potrero and Head Office, generate reports, and collaborate with procurement to prevent stockouts while maintaining proper storage and documentation.
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the inventory department. This role includes monitoring stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory counts, supervising the inventory staff, and maintaining stock movement between multiple locations. The Inventory Supervisor will ensure that all inventory processes are followed correctly and efficiently to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Responsible for monitoring stock availability. Ensure that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels and that orders are placed when stock reaches reorder points.
Responsible for inventory counts. Oversee the physical counting of all inventory items to ensure accurate records in the system.
Responsible for stock reordering. Regularly monitor stocks on hand to initiate timely reordering of items.
Responsible for product monitoring. Track tested products and maintain records to ensure availability and quality.
Responsible for route form monitoring. Ensure that all route forms are properly completed and monitored for stock movement accuracy.
Responsible for team supervision. Lead, supervise, and guide the Inventory Staff in tasks such as stock counting, cleaning, refilling, and proper storage of items.
Responsible for inventory updates. Check and update stock quantities in QuickBooks, ensuring that inventory records are current and accurate.
Responsible for product release management. Ensure that all products released from the inventory are complete and properly documented.
Responsible for stock transfers. Manage and monitor the transfer of stocks between the Potrero and Head Office locations.
Train new employees on inventory procedures
Investigate discrepancies and resolve inventory issues
Work with procurement to ensure timely stock replenishment.
Generate inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
