Job summary

Robinsons Department Store is looking for an Inventory Controller to monitor movements across stores, warehouses, and distribution centers, reconcile stock transactions, and maintain accurate inventory records.

You will support reporting, cycle counts, and cross-functional collaboration to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity, with proficiency in Excel and exposure to SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications; knowledge of SAP, ERP, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Effective communication, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to work under reporting deadlines.
• Open to fresh graduates; experience or exposure in inventory control, accounting, audit, warehousing, retail, or supply chain operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory movements, transfers, stock adjustments, and related transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports, monitoring files, and documentation while ensuring timely submission of required reports.
• Support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of count results against system records.
• Maintain organized inventory records and assist in process improvements, system updates, and other inventory control initiatives.
