Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller (SAP) to support inventory accuracy across a fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operation. The role is responsible for monitoring inventory movements, maintaining accurate SAP inventory records, performing inventory reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures across commissaries, warehouses, and restaurant branches.
The successful candidate has experience in QSR, restaurant operations, FMCG, food manufacturing, or distribution and possesses strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and SAP ERP.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory transactions for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and restaurant supplies.
- Ensure accurate recording of inventory receipts, transfers, production issuances, returns, adjustments, and disposals in SAP.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
- Support daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory count activities across commissaries, warehouses, and restaurant branches.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, including FIFO and FEFO standards.
- Monitor inventory shrinkage, wastage, spoilage, and operational losses, reporting findings to management.
- Prepare inventory reports, variance analyses, and reconciliation schedules.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Operations, Commissary, Warehouse, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure inventory documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Assist in improving inventory processes and strengthening inventory controls through SAP system utilization.
- Conduct branch and warehouse visits to validate inventory practices and compliance with operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, inventory audit, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
- Experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), restaurant chain, food manufacturing, FMCG, retail, distribution, or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (SAP Business One experience is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock movement controls, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Experience conducting physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for inventory reporting and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Willing to travel to restaurant branches, commissaries, and warehouse facilities as needed.
