Job description

Job Responsibilities:

WMS Project Work

• Supports projects in collaboration with appropriate operational resources to implement customer's requirements in existing and new warehouses
• Creates the project timeline and ensures to follow up throughout the implementation life cycle
• Maps business process and conducts documentation to maintain the WMS solutions and operation process
• Provides technical support and guidance to the end user:

1. Receives and analyse incoming incident reports (WMS problems)
2. Determines severity level, organize solution process and follow-up until completion
3. Give advice to business and WMS management with regards to business processes and WMS solutions
4. Analyse root cause and lessons learned; take preventive measures

• Trains site staff on the use of systems and tools to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and improve productivity

Warehouse Operations

• Reviews the warehouse inventory with a combination of protocols including Warehouse Management System, physical counts, routine audits, etc.
• Checks accuracy of data in WMS-JDA against the customers’ records and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
• Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with those on the team as well as cross-functionally
• Ensure that all standard procedures are implemented across warehouses.
• Monitor all Branches for all inventory Records and monthly inventory submission.
• Assist in Recording of Inbound / outbound for branches with slow Internet connections
• Assist All warehouse Admin functions
• Support in all JDA process / Procedures

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable of computerized inventory and tracking system
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of all warehouse operations

Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

• Project management
• Ability to quickly reach an understanding of client’s business requirements
• Experience with configuration of WMS (preferably JDA Dispatcher)
• Experience with implementations of WMS with warehouse operations
• Wide knowledge ofIT in general (e.g. about operating systems, databases, network, WMS processes)
• Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Interpersonal & Communications Skills:

• Able and willing to lead a multi-disciplinary team and have the ambition to develop team members and other colleagues
• Able to communicate to a wide audience (managers and warehouse floor)
• Can-do mentality and positive attitude
