Job summary

Alba Motors & Metalcraft Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of inventory across our manufacturing and operational units.

You will issue, return, store, and monitor equipment, tools, materials, and consumables used on the factory floor and for off-site deployments. The role requires strong attention to detail, experience with ERP/WMS, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years in inventory control or stockroom handling are a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or field operations preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory management software (ERP/WMS) and spreadsheet tools (MS Excel or Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, labeling systems, and inventory tracking protocols.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent record-keeping abilities.
• Clear communication skills to liaise with factory workers, project managers, and field deployment teams.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk to oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of inventory across our manufacturing and operational units. In this role, you will be responsible for the issuance, return, storage, and ongoing monitoring of equipment, tools, materials, and consumables used both on the factory floor and for off-site deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Issue tools, machinery, materials, and consumables to factory floor staff and field deployment teams according to operational requests
• Check in returning equipment and tools, verifying completeness, cleanliness, and operational condition
• Track and follow up on outstanding or overdue tools and materials assigned to off-site personnel
• Maintain real-time accurate inventory records using Inventory Management System (ERP/WMS)
• Conduct routine physical inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconcilations against system records
• Monitor stock levels of critical consumables and production supplies, flagging reorder points to procurement before stockouts occur
• Maintain clean, organized, secure, and well-labeled storage areas and tool cribs
• Ensure all items are safely stored in designated bin/shelf locations in accordance with safety standards and handling guidelines
• Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing parts; log damaged items and arrange for repair, calibration, or retirement
• Pack, stage, and document kit lists and equipment crates designated for off-site deployment

About you

• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, tool crib operations, or stockroom handling are a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or field operations environment preferred
• Proficiency with inventory management software (ERP/WMS) and spreadsheet tools (MS Excel or Google Sheets)
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, labeling systems, and basic inventory tracking protocols
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent record-keeping abilities
• Clear communication skills to liaise effectively with factory workers, project managers, and field deployment teams
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver inventory items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
