Job summary

WalterMart Supermarket, Incorporated is seeking an Inventory Officer to oversee the security and control procedures for company assets in a retail environment. This role focuses on safeguarding cash, inventory, documents, and data while ensuring asset protection across multiple locations.

The position requires ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting control standards, training control staff, and championing process conformity in selling, front end, warehouse operations, and clearance procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or Administration related courses.
• With at least 2 years relevant experience in control, audit and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety and security of the company assets that includes cash, inventory, documents, data, receivables, and fixed assets
• Ensures inventory accuracy
• Assists in the implementation of the control standards
• In-charge on the training and development of the Control personnel
• Ensures that all the standards are implemented as a process champion of selling, front end, warehouse operations and clearing procedures
• Ensures the accuracy and timely submission of reports
