Job summary

Waltermart Supermarket Inc. seeks an Inventory Officer to oversee the implementation of control procedures and safeguard company assets, including cash, inventory, documents, data, receivables, and fixed assets.

The role requires ensuring inventory accuracy, leading the training and development of control personnel, and championing standards across selling, front end, warehouse operations and clearing procedures, with timely report submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Business Administration or related courses.
• With at least 2 years relevant experience in control, audit and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety and security of the company assets that includes cash, inventory, documents, data, receivables, and fixed assets.
• Ensures inventory accuracy.
• Assists in the implementation of the control standards.
• In-charge on the training and development of the Control personnel.
• Ensures that all the standards are implemented as a process champion of selling, front end, warehouse operations and clearing procedures.
• Ensures the accuracy and timely submission of reports.
