Job summary

Responsibilities

• Check costs recorded and perform revaluations if needed.
• Reconcile subsidiary ledgers with general ledger inventory values and resolve differences.
• Investigate inventory errors and book adjusting entries.
• Participate in stock counts and verify inventory adjustments.
• Generate inventory reports and analyze variances and unusual transactions.
• Perform margin analyses and monitor unusual margin ratios.
• Process vendor invoices for inventories and payments.
• Monitor landed cost allocations and coordinate with related departments.
• Suggest policies to lessen control risk in the inventory process.
