Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, strong auditing knowledge, and proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Travel to store locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel, data analysis, and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of sales, cash, inventory, and other financial and operational records.
• Review transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile and validate sales, cash, inventory, and operational data.
• Examine internal control procedures and identify risks or areas for improvement.
• Identify discrepancies and variances and conduct investigations.
• Coordinate with departments and store personnel to clarify audit findings.
• Prepare accurate audit reports and working papers.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions based on findings.
• Assist in reviewing store processes including POS, inventory, and cash handling.
