Job summary

EROAD, a global fleet management technology company, is seeking an Intermediate QA Engineer to validate the quality, reliability and performance of its SaaS products. Based in Manila, you will join a fast-growing team that values quality and continuous improvement.

You’ll own testing across web, mobile, API and backend systems, build automated suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with an agile team to ensure releases are reliable and scalable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation testing experience for web and mobile apps.
• Proficient in Playwright and API testing.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git.
• Ability to write and maintain automated test cases.
• Familiar with agile practices and SDLC.
• Experience with API tools like Postman.
• Exposure to performance, regression, or integration testing is a plus.
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipeline integration is a plus.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

EROAD is a global fleet management technology company known for its telematics platform that helps fleet operators run safer and more compliant operations, and as it continues to grow across New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines and the USA it's looking for an Intermediate QA Engineer to help validate the quality, reliability and performance of its SaaS products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll take ownership of testing across the full stack of our fleet management platform, reporting to the Chapter Lead - QA within a collaborative agile team.

• Design and execute test plans spanning web, mobile, API and backend systems
• Build and maintain automated test suites that catch issues before customers do
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to keep releases moving fast and safe
• Validate performance and reliability of SaaS features as they ship
• Work closely with your agile team throughout the sprint cycle to shape quality from design through to release

WHAT YOU NEED

You’ll bring hands-on automation and testing experience that lets you hit the ground running.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience testing APIs
• Web and mobile testing experience
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and the SDLC
• Experience writing and maintaining automated test cases
• Familiarity with agile practices, CI and version control systems such as Git
• Java for automation and scripting, or any other relevant development or scripting language
• Experience with Postman or a similar API testing tool is a plus
• Exposure to performance, regression or integration testing is a plus
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipeline integration is a plus
