Job summary

Factor1 in the Philippines is seeking an Intermediate Accountant with 2–3 years of hands-on Australian accounting and taxation experience to join our growing team. You will handle routine accounting work with independence and support Australian client tax compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy, with CPA preferred but not required, and strong communication with exceptional attention to detail. Xero and XPM experience is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparation of company, trust and partnership financial statements.
• Preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company and trust).
• Reconcile accounts (banks, loan, other PL and BS accounts).
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Process payroll and superannuation.
• GST Reconciliation.
• Prepare IAS and BAS and payroll tax.
• Communication with clients to gather and follow up on information.
• Perform other tasks as requested or required.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant with approximately 2–3 years of hands-on Australian accounting and taxation experience to join our growing team.

This role is suited to someone who already has a solid grounding in Australian accounting and tax compliance and is comfortable managing routine accounting work with a reasonable level of independence.

What We’re Looking For
