Job summary

Level Up Talent Solutions is seeking a Lean-Pro AU Senior Tax Accountant to support Australian clients with tax preparation, compliance, and accounting support. This role is ideal for candidates with strong AU taxation experience, preferably from an AU accounting firm.

Intermediate-level candidates may also be considered if they have solid AU tax experience and strong technical foundations. The successful applicant will prepare income tax returns, BAS, and IAS, review client data for lodgment

Qualifications

• Experience working with Australian clients is required.
• Experience in an Australian accounting firm is highly preferred.
• Strong experience preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Experience preparing BAS and IAS.
• Familiarity with Australian tax compliance and accounting workflows.
• Experience using Xero, XPM, MYOB, or HandiTax.

• Maintain organized working papers, tax records and client files.
• Coordinate with internal teams or client stakeholders regarding missing information, clarifications and deadlines.
• Ensure work is completed accurately, professionally and within required turnaround times.

• Review client financial data and ensure accuracy before lodgment or submission
• Work with AU accounting tools and practice management systems
• Support Australian client accounting, tax compliance, and documentation requirements
• Maintain organized working papers, tax records, and client files
• Coordinate with internal teams or client stakeholders regarding missing information, clarifications, and deadlines
• Ensure work is completed accurately, professionally, and within required turnaround times
