We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions across a portfolio of clients. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, processing payroll, preparing management reports, and supporting compliance obligations.
- Schedule:Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (PH Time)
- Work Set up: Onsite
- Salary range: PHP 50,000 - 70,000
In this role, you will:
- Bank Reconciliations, Petty Cash Reconciliations, Credit Card
- Reconciliations, Loan Reconciliations, General Ledger Maintenance, and Bookkeeping.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Monthly reconciliations for debtor accounts and management including PBS owing, customer debtors, inter-store trading, scripts owing, shop accounts, donations, bad debts, and owner accounts.
- Monthly reconciliations for creditor accounts and management including invoice processing, requesting missing invoices, and reviewing early payments.
- Process and reconcile payroll, including leave entitlements, superannuation, and payroll-related accounts.
- Prepare hire purchase schedules and process monthly repayments.
- Process accounts through to Trial Balance stage and assist with preparing financial statements and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
- Reconcile GST, sales, bank accounts, cash and EFTPOS takings, dispensary income, and PBS income.
- Review trading performance against Point-of-Sale reports and investigate material variances.
- Reconcile inter-store accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of Payroll Tax Returns and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure confidentiality of company information.
- Complete daily timesheets and support process improvement initiatives.
We're Looking for Someone Who has:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of Australian bookkeeping and payroll experience.
- Experience processing Australian payroll, including leave accruals, superannuation, STP, and payroll reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and month-end reconciliation processes.
- Experience preparing accounts up to Trial Balance stage.
Familiarity with BAS preparation and GST reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data-entry accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills:
- Experience working with Australian SMEs is highly preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
- Solid experience using Xero and/or MYOB (MYOB preferred).
