Job summary

Chevron Philippines Incorporated in Manila's Makati district is seeking an Intercompany Analyst to manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and month-end close. The role requires a accounting degree, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach within a diverse team.

The position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities to engage across global finance functions, supporting customers and driving accurate, GAAP-compliant records.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process intercompany transactions and prepare invoices for local in-country compliance.
• Perform month-end accounting close activities.
• Intercompany account reconciliation and analysis, tracing and escalating imbalances.
• Settle and collect intercompany balances.
• Ensure accounting records comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support other intercompany activities and coordinate ad hoc projects as needed.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intercompany Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Processing of intercompany transactions including the preparation of invoices for local in-country compliance
• Performs month end accounting close activities
• Intercompany account reconciliation and analysis including tracing and escalating intercompany imbalances and other open items
• Settlement and collection of intercompany balances
• Ensures proper procedures and controls to maintain accounting records that comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Supports the customers’ other intercompany activities
• Coordinates special projects and other ad hoc roles and responsibilities as assigned by Team Leader / Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
• Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inSAP, S4 Hana or JDE is an advantage, but not required
• Three years’ work experience preferably in an accounting or audit
