Ventra Health is seeking an Intake Exceptions Specialist to accurately enter insurance and patient demographics at the encounter level. The role expands to system-wide insurance maintenance and cross walking as you advance.

Ideal candidates will have experience with insurance billing, medical terminology, and EMR systems, plus strong research and communication skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of experience with insurance/professional medical billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain insurance and patient demographics accurately at encounter level.
• Research and cross-walk insurance to patient charts and systems.
• Identify red flag issues and provide researched solutions.
• Support major projects within the department and assist facilities.
