Job summary

COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL in Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna invites an Instrumentation and Control Technician to join the Engineering team. The role covers installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems to ensure reliability, safety, and product quality across facilities.

The ideal candidate has a technical qualification in Instrumentation/Electrical engineering or equivalent, hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA, and strong calibration knowledge.

Qualifications

• Completed technical qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of measurement principles, calibration procedures, and control system operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installing, calibrating, and commissioning instrumentation and control systems including sensors, transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges, and related equipment.
• Routine maintenance and preventive care on instrumentation equipment for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in instrumentation and control systems; identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Performing calibration checks and adjustments to measurement instruments to maintain accuracy within specified tolerances.
• Testing and validating control system logic and functionality for safe and reliable operation.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and control system documentation.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, calibrations, repairs, and system performance.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and support process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, standards, and company procedures.
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
