Job summary

FDC Utilities Inc. is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to provide technical assistance to the ETS team, perform front-end engineering tasks, and prepare project documents including drawings, plans, and bid data.

You will coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams, review instrumentation and control specifications, support installation and commissioning of field instruments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering is required.
Registered Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.
Ability to read and interpret instrumentation and control schematics.
Experience with power plant instrumentation and control systems.
Proficient with CAD and 3D modeling software.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to ETS team in day-to-day activities.
Perform front-end engineering assignments applying basic principles in instrumentation and controls engineering for power industry practices.
Prepare technical documents such as drawings, plans, reports, schedules, and bid documents as required.
Direct support to Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer.
Assist in evaluating technical qualifications of bidders and reviewing documents.
