Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience in process instrumentation, industrial automation, or control systems.
• Strong communication, instructional, and technical facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of calibration, PLC programming, wiring, and system integration.
• Willingness to work on-site in Pasig City.

Responsibilities

• Teach instrumentation and control topics, including sensors and calibration techniques.
• Deliver lessons on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial automation devices.
• Guide students in programming, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting automated control systems.
• Prepare lesson plans, lab exercises, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHS, LOTO, PEC, IEC/ISA) during lab work and practical sessions.
• Mentor students in troubleshooting, process simulation, and integration of industrial automation systems.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic events, and professional development activities.

Job description

Position: Instrumentation & Automation Instructor (Industry Practitioners Welcome)

Location: MFI Building, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City (Landmark: The Medical City)

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift); may occasionally extend during enrollment and school events

Industry practitioners are welcome. Teaching experience is an advantage but not required. MFI provides instructional support and development.

This role involves training students in process control systems, industrial automation, and PLC applications, combining both theoretical instruction and practical laboratory work.

The successful candidate will help students develop technical competencies aligned with current industrial standards and Industry 4.0 practices, preparing them for employment in automation and process industries.

Initial interview is short and exploratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental and advanced topics in instrumentation and control, including sensors, transducers, and calibration techniques.
• Deliver lessons and demonstrations on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial automation devices.
• Guide students in programming, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting automated control systems.
• Prepare lesson plans, lab exercises, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHS, LOTO, PEC, IEC/ISA) during lab work and practical sessions.

• Based at MFI Ortigas, Pasig Campus (Landmark: The Medical City).
• Combination of workshop and classroom instruction.
• May occasionally require overtime or support during enrollment and accreditation activities.
