Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control system design, analysis and implementation.
• Proficiency in CAD for control system design.
• Experience with PLC, DCS or SCADA programming.
• Knowledge of ISA, IEC and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instrumentation and automation systems per BU requirements.
• Create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems using CAD.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Develop and implement automation and control plans using PLC, DCS, or SCADA tools.
• Evaluate technologies to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Diagnose malfunctions with testing devices and provide troubleshooting support.
• Review and approve design documents and demonstrate equipment functionality to operators.
• Carry out cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies to keep projects on schedule and budget.
