Job summary

Solvo Global Careers seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to craft engaging learning experiences across eLearning, ILT, VILT, and mobile formats. You will collaborate with leaders and SMEs to translate complex content into effective programs, develop storyboards and materials, and publish SCORM-compliant content in our LMS.

You will design with adult learning principles, manage multiple projects, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in instructional design, edtech, adult education, learning & development or related field.
• 3+ years designing blended learning programs.
• Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience conducting training needs analyses and designing learning solutions.
• Experience creating storyboards, scripts, visual assets, and instructional content.
• Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning experiences using adult learning principles and best practices.

• Develop storyboards, scripts, objectives, content, and materials.

• Present concepts and recommendations during development.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to meet organizational needs.
• Build and publish SCORM-compliant content and manage LMS uploads/tests.

Job description

We are seeking a talented Instructional Designer to develop engaging and impactful learning solutions that support professional, leadership, and foundational skill development across the organization. In this role, you'll collaborate with business leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and training teams to create high-quality learning programs delivered through multiple modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led training, videos, webinars, podcasts, mobile learning, and more.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
• Create blended learning solutions across various formats, including: eLearning, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), Mobile Learning, Videos, Podcasts, Webinars, Interactive Simulations, Case Studies, Role-Play Activities.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, learning objectives, training content, and instructional materials.
• Create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, quick reference guides, and supporting learning resources.
• Partner with business leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and develop learning content.
• Present design concepts and recommendations throughout the development process.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure learning solutions meet organizational needs.
• Build and publish SCORM-compliant learning content.
• Upload, test, and maintain training content within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Troubleshoot course functionality and ensure a positive learner experience.
• Monitor training effectiveness using learning metrics and performance data.
• Assess training outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and developing blended learning programs.
• Strong expertise in Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design Methodologies, eLearning Development, Learning Experience Design.
• Experience conducting training needs analyses and designing learning solutions.
• Experience creating storyboards, scripts, visual learning assets, and instructional content.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced experience with Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Vyond, SCORM-compliant authoring tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience uploading and testing SCORM or AICC learning materials.

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing leadership development, professional development, or healthcare-related learning programs.
• Experience creating multimedia learning content and interactive digital experiences.
